FreedomHealth Behavioral Services

About us

A practice built on unhurried attention

Freedom Health Behavioral Services exists because psychiatric care works best when patients feel genuinely heard, at seven or seventy-five, from wherever in Ohio they call home.

Our story

Behavioral health, without the runaround

Too many people spend months bouncing between waitlists, referral lines, and rushed fifteen-minute visits before anyone truly hears what they're going through. Freedom Health was founded to be the opposite of that experience: one practice where evaluation, medication care, and follow-up stay connected, and where the person prescribing your treatment is the one who knows your story.

Based in Westerville and fully telehealth, we care for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults by secure video across Ohio. Weekday hours run from 7 AM to 9 PM because the people who need care have jobs, classes, and school pickups, and treatment should bend around life, not the other way around.

A calm, sunlit room with soft seating, plants, and warm wood floors.

How we practice

Four commitments we don't compromise on

Listen before labeling
A diagnosis should organize care, not replace curiosity. We keep listening after the first visit.
Plain language, always
You should leave every appointment able to explain your own care plan to someone you trust.
The whole person, the whole family
Sleep, school, work, relationships, culture, faith. Context isn't a footnote to psychiatric care; it's the substance of it.
Freedom as the goal
Our name is the mission: care that helps people feel less confined by their symptoms, and more like themselves.

Ready when you are.
